U.S. President Joe Biden has been seen for the first time since contracting COVID-19 and withdrawing from the presidential race.
Biden was spotted getting out of his vehicle and boarding a plane as he returned to Washington from Delaware, where he had been self-isolating.
Stepping out of the vehicle with a mask in his hand, Biden responded to reporters' questions of "How are you feeling?" by waving and giving a thumbs-up.
Discussions regarding Biden's health status had emerged in some U.S. media reports and among social media users, with some individuals claiming that Biden's health was not good.
It was reported on July 17 that U.S. President Biden had tested positive for COVID-19. It was noted that Biden, who was self-isolating in Delaware, would continue to perform his presidential duties.
