Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's 'Group Meeting' move: 'Özel is not the group chairman' will be argued

While discussions regarding the court decision continue, Özgür Özel had announced that the CHP Group Meeting would be held tomorrow at 13:30. 

Özel had stated, "The CHP group can hold a group meeting here with a verbal call while parliamentary work is ongoing. Our group meeting, which you have also shown interest in, will be held at 13:30 as announced."

On the other hand, it was observed that the CHP Group Meeting was included in the official weekly program of the TBMM Presidency for tomorrow at 13:30.

"KILIÇDAROĞLU WILL OBJECT"

Journalist Barış Yarkadaş, speaking on a program he was a guest on at tv100, announced that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu would object to the group meeting. 

Yarkadaş stated that Kılıçdaroğlu would file an objection with the TBMM Presidency in accordance with the Group Internal Regulations. It was stated that the grounds for the objection would be the assessment that Özgür Özel is not the group chairman.

Barış Yarkadaş included the following statements in his remarks: 

"CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will object to the meeting that Özgür Özel will hold tomorrow at the TBMM, in accordance with the group internal regulations. Article 7 of the group internal regulations is being cited as the reason for the objection. The article in question states that the group chairman works in conjunction with the chairman and implements the chairman's instructions. In this context, it will be argued that Özgür Özel is not the CHP's group chairman."
