KFC releases fried chicken perfume
KFC Spain is launching a unisex perfume called “Eau D’uardo,” specially prepared for the Christmas season.
KFC founder Colonel Harland Sanders’ original chicken recipe-inspired scent consists of vibrant notes such as geranium, mandarin, pink pepper, and bergamot.
BOTTLE SYMBOLIZING A CHICKEN LEG
The bottle of the fragrance resembles a chicken leg and references a viral meme known as “Eduardo” that circulated in Spain last December. The campaign film, prepared by the advertising agency PS21 (Jungle), also makes references to luxury perfume advertising clichés.
The limited-edition perfume (25 thousand units) went on sale on November 21 via the KFC app for $3.99.
