King Charles could not hold back his tears!

It was announced that King Charles III of England, who was treated in the hospital for an enlarged prostate in recent weeks and subsequently discharged, has been diagnosed with cancer. Thousands of letters of support have arrived for the King, whose treatment is ongoing.

The King, who received more than 7,000 messages from all over the world, had the chance to read some of the well-wishes.

While some cards contained humorous messages, others included messages from those battling cancer. It was stated that the King was moved by some of the messages he read and was “moved to tears.”

It is not known who sent the cards containing wishes such as “Stay positive, trust me it works, family is the most important thing” and “I hope you get well soon.” Meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, King Charles said, “I’ve had so many wonderful messages. It’s reduced me to tears.”

According to a report by the BBC, it was stated that these cards were written to boost the King's morale.

On the royal family's official social media account, it was stated: “Since the King’s cancer diagnosis, His Majesty has received messages of support from all over the world. The King said, ‘All those who have been affected by cancer will know how such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.’”
