King Charles recovers and is discharged
King Charles III of England has been discharged from the hospital where he was treated for an enlarged prostate.
In a written statement issued by Buckingham Palace, it was reported that King Charles III of England was discharged from the hospital in the afternoon following his planned medical treatment.
The statement noted that the King has rescheduled his upcoming public engagements to allow for a recovery period, thanked his medical team and those who supported his hospital visit, and expressed his gratitude for all the messages he has received in recent days.
HE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL ON JANUARY 26
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace on January 26, it was announced that King Charles III had left Clarence House at 08:30 local time and gone to the hospital.
The statement included the following: "His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his condition is having a positive impact on public health awareness."
Footage reflected in the press also showed King Charles arriving at the private hospital, The London Clinic, with his wife, Queen Camilla.
In a previous statement from Buckingham Palace regarding the health of King Charles, who turned 75 in November, it was stated that the King would undergo a corrective procedure for a benign enlarged prostate.
