The birthday celebration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and King's Day took place.

Celebrated as Queen's Day from 1890 until 2013, when King Willem-Alexander ascended to the throne, the Netherlands' most important holiday was celebrated as King's Day this year. The festivities featured interesting scenes.

On April 27, all Dutch people take to the streets in their national color, orange, wearing outfits and performing interesting acts.

SPECIAL STAGES WERE SET UP

From Museumplein, home to the world's most famous museums, to the train station in the city center, special stages and tents were set up everywhere this year in honor of the King's birthday. The public and the city, painted orange from head to toe, continued the birthday celebrations with King's Night as darkness fell.

THEY DANCED TO ERIK DALI

In the Netherlands, where many Turkish expatriates also live, the song "Erik Dalı" was played during the celebrations. Everyone, from 7 to 77, locals and foreigners alike, danced heartily to this upbeat track.
