Criticism of Ukraine from a Lebanese expert! 'Kyiv's accusations are not convincing'

Lebanese political scientist Mohammad Said El-Rez made assessments regarding the ceasefire declared by Russia for Easter and the subsequent developments in an interview with Sputnik.

El-Rez stated that Vladimir Zelensky first called for a 30-day extension of the ceasefire, then violated it with attacks carried out in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, and subsequently blamed Russian soldiers.

Expressing that Kyiv's attempts to accuse Russia of aggression have long been unconvincing, El-Rez emphasized that it is known by everyone that the massacre of Russians in eastern Ukraine and the country's progress toward joining NATO are efforts by Zelensky and his Western patrons to encircle and control Russia.

"The Ukrainian administration has lost its political balance; the weakness of its policies, the unreality of its statements, and its regression from a strategic level to a daily tactical level have been revealed. After the Democratic administration invested large amounts of money, aid, and massive military equipment, and dragged the world into a quagmire of conflict that brought it to the brink of World War III, Zelensky's image has collapsed in the face of the Republican administration in the US," said El-Rez, continuing as follows:

"Russia has shown resilience, awareness, and strength of character in realizing the goals of its military operation, with stable successes, the liberation of ethnic Russian regions, economic development despite the war, the strengthening of its regional and global role, and the strengthening of alliances with China, Vietnam, North Korea, and countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, turning the West's sanctions against Moscow into a futile mirage."
