Lebanese Ministry of Health announces: Death toll exceeds 3,000

In a written statement issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, information was provided regarding the loss of life in Israeli attacks.

It was noted that 15 people were killed and 69 others were injured in attacks carried out by the Israeli army on many regions of Lebanon yesterday.

DEATH TOLL EXCEEDS 3,000

The statement indicated that the number of people who have lost their lives in attacks carried out by Israel on Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has risen to 3,117, and the number of injured has reached 13,888.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched intense airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS DISPLACED

The Israeli army also announced on September 30 that it had begun "limited and intense" ground attacks targeting "Hezbollah's infrastructure" in southern Lebanon.

It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli bombardment.

While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country to the capital Beirut and the north continues, the Lebanese government announced that more than 539,000 of the displaced persons have migrated to Syria.
