Long-range weapons agreement between Germany and Ukraine
An agreement on the production of long-range weapons has been signed between Germany and Ukraine, while Germany will also provide an additional 5 billion euros in aid to Ukraine.
Germany and Ukraine have signed an agreement on the production of long-range weapons. In a statement issued by the German Ministry of Defense, it was noted that Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met in the capital, Berlin, and that following the meeting, the two ministers signed an agreement on the production of long-range weapons between Germany and Ukraine.
The statement noted that the first of these systems could begin to be used by the Ukrainian army within a few weeks.
The statement also indicated that an agreement had been signed regarding Germany providing an additional 5 billion euros in aid to Ukraine, noting that the 5 billion euros in aid that Germany will provide to Ukraine is a demonstration of Germany's military support for Ukraine.
