Stating that the violent incidents in the city are targeting deportation operations, Trump said, "Now, violent, insurrectionist mobs are attacking and occupying our federal agents to stop our deportation operations."

Emphasizing that the protests and attacks in the city will not intimidate the federal government, Trump said, "But these lawless insurrections only strengthen our resolve." President Trump announced that he has given direct instructions to Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi.
