Malfunction in Israel's air defense system
A missile fired from one of the air defense systems Israel uses to intercept ballistic missiles sent by Iran fell near its launch battery due to a malfunction.
Mutual airstrikes between Iran and Israel continue. Last night, Iran launched a ballistic missile attack near the Nevatim Airbase located in southern Israel.
Israeli air defense systems responded to the Iranian attack.
Due to a malfunction in one of Israel's air defense batteries, one of the launched missiles broke apart in mid-air, and the warhead it was carrying fell near the battery of the air defense system from which it was fired.
The Israeli military has not issued a statement regarding any loss of life or property in the incident.
