Mexican musician Jonathan Melendez and his family found dead in their home in Mexico City
In a penthouse in Mexico City, Jonathan Melendez, his pregnant wife, their 3-year-old daughter, and a domestic worker were found dead; two suspects are in custody.
In an incident that took place in a penthouse in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, musician and composer Jonathan Melendez, two members of his family, and a domestic worker were found dead.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Melendez, who played keyboards in a band, as well as his wife Ana Paola, who was reported to be about 4 months pregnant, their 3-year-old daughter, and a young domestic worker lost their lives as a result of an armed attack. It was reported that the family's pet dog was also found dead at the scene.

It was announced that a 6-year-old child found at the scene was unharmed. In a statement, the Attorney General's Office noted that the victims and the pet dog were found bound with duct tape.
The statement shared information that the 3-year-old girl and two other individuals were shot in the head, while one person was shot in the back. Two suspects believed to be connected to the incident have been taken into custody.
It is being evaluated that one of the suspects may have entered the apartment by using their connection to Melendez. The investigation into the murders is continuing.
