Military sites targeted: Houthis strike an Israeli-owned ship
The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen announced that they have targeted an Israeli-owned ship in the Gulf of Aden and military sites in the Israeli city of Eilat.
The Houthis, operating in Yemen, announced that they have carried out an attack on an Israeli-owned ship and military zones in the Israeli city of Eilat.
Houthi Military Spokesperson Yahya Saree, in a televised speech, noted that they targeted the Israeli ship MSC UNIFIC in the Gulf of Aden with a number of ballistic missiles and drones.
Stating that an attack was carried out with unmanned aerial vehicles against several Israeli military targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in the southern Israeli city of Eilat, Saree indicated that the operations were successful.
Saree said that the attacks in question were carried out "in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the massacre committed by Israel yesterday in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis city."
There has been no statement from Israel regarding the matter yet.
