In the South American country of Peru, 10 people lost their lives after a passenger minibus plunged into a 220-meter ravine.
According to reports in the Peruvian press, a passenger minibus lost control and plunged into a 220-meter ravine on the Juliaca-Sandia road in the Cuyo region in the south of the country.
In the accident, 10 people lost their lives at the scene, while a 4-year-old child was pulled from the minibus with serious injuries.
Numerous fire and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
