MIT Chief Kalın meets with Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Umerov

MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın met with the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov in Ankara.

During the meeting, the security situation inassessments were made regarding. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine conflicts and the tension between the two countries, as well as itsregional and global impacts, were discussed.

In this context, efforts to achieve peacewhat can be doneregarding this, thelatest status in the negotiation processes, and the regional environmentwere evaluated, taking into account the steps that could be taken.

In addition, MIT Chief Kalın and Umerov also discussed the issue of the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia and the prisoner exchangeprocess.

During the meeting, the systematic efforts between the two countries within the framework of existing cooperation formats wereit was agreed thatefforts will continue to be maintained.
