Mossad agent leaking information via WhatsApp captured in Iran
As conflicts between Israel and Iran continue in the Middle East, the arrest of a Mossad agent in Iran has drawn attention. The agent is alleged to have transmitted classified information to Israel via WhatsApp.
The attacks launched by Israel on June 13 as part of the "Rising Lion" operation have entered their eighth day with Iran's "True Promise 3" retaliation.
While the Iranian military targeted Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Holon, and Beersheba, it was reported that five people were injured in Beersheba. It was announced that five hospitals in Iran were damaged as a result of Israel's attacks.
Amid these developments, debates continue over whether the US will become involved in the conflict. Iranian state television announced that a Mossad agent, who was alleged to have leaked information about Iran's air defense systems via WhatsApp, has been arrested.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz ordered an increase in attacks targeting symbols of the regime in the Iranian capital, Tehran. Stating that they aim to destabilize the Iranian regime, Katz called for mass evacuations from Tehran.
