Most intense missile attack since the start of the war: Russia strikes Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it has struck various locations in Ukraine, including energy and defense industry facilities, areas housing foreign mercenaries, ammunition depots, and railway hubs.

In a statement from the ministry, information regarding the Russian army's operations in Ukraine was shared.

The statement, which noted that the Russian army struck several military targets today, said: "The Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive strike using long-range air, sea, and land-based precision missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against defense industry and energy facilities, railway hubs, ammunition depots, and locations where Ukrainian military personnel and foreign mercenaries are stationed."

It was stated that the attacks reached their targets, and it was emphasized that facilities producing and repairing weapons, military equipment, and ammunition were rendered unusable.

Regarding the response to Ukraine's attempts to infiltrate Russia's Belgorod region, the following was stated:

"In response to the shelling of our territory and attempts to infiltrate and seize Russian border settlements, we carried out 49 retaliatory strikes using 'Kinzhal' hypersonic missiles, long-range precision missiles, missile systems, and UAVs."

The statement provided information that, as a result of the attacks, decision-making centers of the Ukrainian army, airport infrastructure facilities, weapon and military equipment repair workshops, storage areas for UAVs and unmanned maritime vehicles, logistics bases, and temporary deployment points for foreign mercenaries were struck.
