On a Scandinavian Airlines 'A320-200' aircraft operating the Oslo-Malaga route, a mouse that emerged from a passenger's meal disappeared into the cabin, causing panic. After the cabin crew reported the situation to the pilots, the plane made an emergency landing in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, for safety reasons.

Following the incident, the flight crew assessed the situation as a security risk and diverted the flight to Copenhagen to make an emergency landing.

One of the passengers on the plane, Jarle Borrestad, described the situation in a social media post, saying, 'Believe it or not. A woman next to me opened her food and a mouse jumped out.'

SAS spokesperson Oystein Schmidt stated in a statement regarding the matter that the necessary procedures were followed after the incident and announced that the passengers were transferred to Malaga, Spain, on another aircraft.

Emphasizing that such incidents are extremely rare, Schmidt said, 'Together with our suppliers, we are conducting a detailed review and developing new procedures to ensure that such a situation does not happen again.'
