Nasrallah's son-in-law killed in Israeli strike on Damascus

Reports in Arab and Lebanese media indicate that the son-in-law of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital, Damascus.

According to the reports, Nasrallah's son-in-law, Hassan Qasir, was killed in an Israeli airstrike yesterday on a three-story building in the Mezzeh district of Damascus. Qasir was also the brother of senior Hezbollah commander Muhammad Jaafar Qasir, who was killed yesterday in an Israeli military airstrike on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The news that Nasrallah's son-in-law, Hassan Qasir, was killed in the Damascus airstrike was also confirmed by the non-governmental organization Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The organization stated, "Hassan Nasrallah's son-in-law, Hassan Jaafar Qasir, was one of two Lebanese individuals who lost their lives in the Israeli strike targeting an apartment in the Mezzeh district of Damascus."

At least three people were killed and many others were injured in the airstrike in Damascus.
