Nasrallah speaks out after consecutive attacks: 'This is a declaration of war'

The whole world is talking about the terrorist attack Israel carried out in Lebanon by detonating pagers and walkie-talkies. While thousands of people were injured in this Israeli attack, 25 people lost their lives.

Speaking on the subject, Nasrallah began his speech by saying, "I wish God's mercy upon our martyrs," and the Hezbollah leader said, "I thank the doctors, nurses, and all medical teams. Their sacrifices have deeply affected us. Blood donations were made from all over the country, and the donation made on Tuesday was the largest blood donation to date," and included the following statements:

"WE HAVE NOT SEEN SUCH SOLIDARITY FOR A LONG TIME"

I thank the doctors who opened the doors of their clinics. I thank the entire Lebanese people. They cooperated with us and provided solidarity in all regions. They showed solidarity beyond sectarianism and politics. I thank all leaders, religious and political authorities, ministers, deputies, party members, academics, and the media.

We have seen the blessing of this pure blood. We have seen this again in Lebanon. There was great humanitarian and moral solidarity. We had not seen such solidarity for a long time.

At the same time, I thank all the states that provided support. The Iraqi government and the Islamic Republic of Iran sent planes to transport dozens of wounded, and they are still sending them. I thank the Syrian government; they opened the hospitals in Damascus. I thank all the governments that called the Lebanese government to express their solidarity.

I thank all the states that protested and condemned this despicable attack. Especially in Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Iran. Of course, we offer our main thanks and gratitude to God. For keeping more calamities away from us in such a disaster and such a test.

"NEITHER MORAL NOR LEGAL"

On Tuesday, the enemy Israel targeted thousands of pagers and detonated them simultaneously. The enemy violated all principles and crossed red lines in this operation. They do not care about anything. Neither morally, nor humanely, nor legally. Some of the explosions occurred in hospitals.

Some of those carrying pagers were working in hospitals and pharmacies. There were those in markets, shops, their homes, and their vehicles. Many civilians, women, and children were also carrying pagers, not just Hezbollah fighters.

They targeted a device used by civilians. Devices used not only by us but all over the world. Hospitals and commercial firms use them.

On Wednesday, they detonated wireless devices, walkie-talkies, in the same way. They detonated walkie-talkies in ambulances and hospitals. At the end of this hostility, we gave dozens of martyrs. There are women, children, and civilians. Thousands of people were injured.

"THEY WANTED TO KILL 4 THOUSAND PEOPLE"

The real numbers will emerge over time. Many of the injured went in and out of the hospital; perhaps they were not even counted as injured. The real numbers will emerge later.

What is the enemy doing? We are looking at the enemy's intention. Let's assume they targeted the pagers. Let's assume there were more than 4 thousand devices. They think these 4 thousand devices were distributed to Hezbollah's youth, our sisters, and our brothers. They wanted to kill 4 thousand people in 1 minute.

"THIS IS A DECLARATION OF WAR"

What shall we call what was done? What shall we call this major terrorist act? Mass genocide. We call it genocide on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the war you are fighting with this enemy, since this cancer tumor Israel was founded, Israel, which is pure evil in our region, is constantly attacking Lebanon, the people, the resistance, and our sovereignty. This is a war crime, a declaration of war. You can give it any name you want; they deserve it.

Almighty God, with His great mercy, grace, and favor, ensured the survival of many of our people. He kept many calamities away from us. Many of these wounded were lightly injured, perhaps as many as the number of martyrs.

"MANY DEVICES WERE TURNED OFF"

Many devices were turned off and out of service. Some were away from our friends, some had not been distributed. The enemy's intention was as I said. Almighty God, with His own mercy, and there is no doubt that we did not have a single wounded person left on the ground. All ambulances, the Red Cross, the Red Crescent, and other health institutions, our people made a great effort. Everyone cooperated. Our army, security forces, hospitals. They prevented them from reaching this goal.

They wanted to kill 5 thousand people on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thanks to God's grace and humanitarian efforts. Our people made an effort. They largely failed to achieve their goals. Let's look at what happened and how it happened. We have established many research committees and commissions within us. We are technically examining all scenarios.

We have reached a conclusion, it is almost certain, but it needs a little more time to finalize the result. What is the result of this incident? Whether it is the company that sold us these devices, the one that brought them to Lebanon, and up to their distribution. From the producer to the moment it reached our hands. We will look at all of them in a short time and get a definitive result. Then it will be exactly clear how this incident happened.

"WE RECEIVED A SECURITY BLOW"

We are quickly investigating how they technically carried out this incident and through which path they carried it out. There is no doubt that we need to see the facts. We have received a major security blow, a humanitarian blow. This was a blow unprecedented in the history of the resistance in Lebanon. We had never received such a blow from the enemy in Lebanon. We had not been subjected to such an attack in the war we fought with our Israeli enemies. Perhaps such an attack had not even occurred in world history.

We received a big blow, yes. But that is the nature of this war. These are in the nature of the conflict. We know our enemy's technical and technological superiority. It is not just Israel; the US and the West are behind it. Those who have the newest technology and technical power are standing against us.

When we enter this conflict, we make sacrifices, we constantly strive on the path to victory. Throughout history, those around this war know that sometimes we win and sometimes the enemy wins.

"WE WILL NOT BE IN A HURRY"

Hassan Nasrallah stated that they would make a final assessment regarding the attacks, but that some confirmations needed to be made.

"Security, production, transportation, customs, and storage stages will be examined in detail until the moment of the attack. The facts will be revealed in a way that leaves no room for doubt. We will not act in a hurry," he stated.
