The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah continues to escalate tensions in the Middle East.

Israel, which has been conducting intense attacks on Lebanon in recent days, killed Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike in Beirut on September 27.

NASRALLAH'S BODY RECOVERED FROM THE RUBBLE

Eyewitnesses speaking to the Reuters news agency reported that the body of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in Israeli strikes on Beirut, has been recovered from the wreckage site.

CAUSE OF NASRALLAH'S DEATH

Two sources reported that the body remained intact and that there were no direct wounds on Nasrallah's lifeless body. It was noted that the cause of death may have been 'blunt force trauma resulting from the explosion.' 

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions. According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1,052 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have been killed since September 17, when communication devices used by Hezbollah were detonated.
