Neck-and-neck race in the US: Harris and Trump are running head-to-head in the election

The New York Times and Siena College conducted a poll regarding the US presidential election to be held on November 5.

The poll results, which place Harris at the 47 percent band, found that Trump is 1 point ahead with 48 percent.

On the other hand, according to the averages of polls conducted across the US, Harris is 2 points ahead of Trump with 49 percent of the vote.

The poll results show that the candidates are running head-to-head ahead of the TV debate to be held on September 10.

Nearly 30 percent of the voters participating in the poll state that they do not have enough information about Harris's political stance.

Meanwhile, most voters believe that Trump's political views are largely clear.
