Negotiation statement from Iran: We have submitted our proposal

According to the Iranian press, Gharibabadi met with ambassadors and heads of missions from various countries in the capital, Tehran.

In his speech there, Gharibabadi stated that his country would protect its national interests and security in both scenarios, whether diplomacy or war, and said, "Iran has submitted its proposal to Pakistan as a mediator. The ball is now in the court of the US, which will decide whether to continue the conflict or choose the path of diplomacy."

Emphasizing that Iran does not trust the US, Gharibabadi said that his country would maintain its sincerity on the path of diplomacy.

Iranian Parliament Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad stated that work is underway in the Iranian Parliament for a new transit protocol for the Strait of Hormuz, saying, "The management plan for the Strait of Hormuz has been prepared in 12 articles. According to this plan, Israeli ships will never be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz."

According to Iranian State Television, Nikzad made statements regarding the Strait of Hormuz during his visit to the city of Bandar Abbas in the southern province of Hormozgan.

Nikzad stated, "The management plan for the Strait of Hormuz has been prepared in 12 articles. According to this plan, Israeli ships will never be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Ships from countries that engage in hostile actions against Iran will also not be allowed to pass unless they pay war reparations. Other ships will be able to pass in accordance with the law created by the Iranian Parliament and the permission to be granted by Iran."

Emphasizing that they will not relinquish their rights in the Strait of Hormuz, Nikzad said, "Ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will not be as it was before the imposed third war. The new management model for the Strait of Hormuz is as important as the nationalization of oil."

Mohammad Reza Rezaei, Chairman of the Civil Development Commission of the Iranian Parliament, who accompanied Nikzad on the visit, emphasized that managing the Strait of Hormuz is more important than acquiring nuclear weapons, and assessed, "30 percent of the revenue to be obtained from Strait of Hormuz transits will be allocated to strengthening the armed forces, and 70 percent will be allocated to improving the living conditions of the people and development initiatives."
