It has been reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump.
According to a report by the Yedioth Ahronot newspaper, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke with Trump following a meeting he held with members of his security cabinet in the evening.
The report did not share any details regarding the content of the conversation.
In a speech delivered before the security cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had announced that the Israeli army was expanding its ground operations in Lebanon, which it continues to occupy despite the ceasefire.
