Netanyahu announces that attacks on Gaza will continue
As the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip enter their 100th day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the attacks on Gaza will "last for months."
In Israel, according to a report in The Times of Israel, Netanyahu made assessments regarding Israel's military presence in Gaza and the war budget before the cabinet vote on the changes to be made to the 2024 budget due to the "war" in Gaza by the Tel Aviv administration.
NETANYAHU'S CALL FOR 'WAR'
Netanyahu stated, "It is clear that we must manage this war. It will last for many more months. That is why we are bringing the war budget today."
The Israeli Prime Minister emphasized that the new war budget includes much larger security expenditures than planned compared to the initial 2024 budget approved last year.
Stating that he wants the budget amendment in question to be passed within a day, Netanyahu said, "I am ready to sit here as long as it takes, we will finish this tonight if possible."
