Netanyahu comments on Iran war: 'We are past the halfway point'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made assessments regarding the war against Iran in an interview with the US-based media outlet Newsmax.

Stating that more than half of the war objectives have been achieved, Netanyahu avoided commenting on when the war would end, saying, "We are definitely past the halfway point. However, I do not want to set a timetable for this."

Netanyahu emphasized that the war is past the halfway point "not in terms of time, but in terms of tasks."

"What we are doing is weakening the Iranian regime from within"

Underlining that they have achieved many goals, including the killing of "thousands" of members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Netanyahu said, "We are very close to ending Iran's arms industry. We are destroying their entire industrial base, all their factories, and their nuclear program."

Stating that he believes the regime in Iran will fall, Netanyahu said, "I think this regime will collapse from within. But what we are doing right now is reducing their military capabilities, their missile capabilities, their nuclear capabilities, and weakening them from within."
