Netanyahu: Gaza will be handed over to Arab forces
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel intends to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, adding, "We want to hand it over to Arab forces that will manage it properly without threatening us and provide a good life for the people of Gaza."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements regarding his plans for the Gaza Strip in an interview with the US press.
When asked whether Israel has a plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, Netanyahu stated that Israel intends to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, saying, "That is our intention. We do not want to hold onto it. We want to have a security perimeter. We do not want to govern it. We do not want to be there as a governing body."
Claiming that they will hand over Gaza to Arab forces after the occupation, Netanyahu said, "We want to hand it over to Arab forces that will manage it properly without threatening us and provide a good life for the people of Gaza."
On the other hand, the Israeli army, which currently occupies approximately 75 percent of the Gaza Strip, had previously stated many times that it was against the total occupation of Gaza.
