Netanyahu responds to Biden's ultimatum! 'If we must stand alone, we will'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued an indirect response to the US administration, which halted a shipment of weapons to his country last week, via a video message.

Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that Israel is currently much stronger than it was in 1948, when it declared its independence. Netanyahu said, "We are determined and united to defeat our enemies and those who seek to destroy us. If we need to stand alone, we will stand alone. As I have said before, if necessary, we will fight with our fingernails."

"I HOPE WE CAN OVERCOME OUR DISAGREEMENTS"

In an interview with US television, Netanyahu also expressed his hope that he and Biden could overcome their disagreements regarding the war in Gaza. Netanyahu stated, "We have often had agreements, but we have also had disagreements, and we have managed to overcome them. I hope we can overcome these as well, but we will do what we must to protect our country."

BIDEN'S STATEMENT HAD DOMINATED THE AGENDA

In an interview with US media, US President Joe Biden announced that he would stop sending weapons to Israel if it launches a full-scale ground offensive into Rafah, where more than 1 million civilians are sheltering in the southern Gaza Strip. Biden had stated, "If they go into Rafah, they haven't gone in (with a full-scale offensive) yet, if they go in, I have made it clear that I will not supply the weapons that have been used in Rafah and in other cities."
