Netanyahu's response to Erdoğan regarding Hitler
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to the 'Hitler' criticism directed at him by President Erdoğan.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with harsh words during a ceremony held at the Presidential Complex today.
Speaking about the attacks Israel has been carrying out on the Gaza Strip since October 7, Erdoğan stated, "It has been 80 days since the attacks began. All values belonging to humanity have been executed before our eyes. We watched Israel's Nazi camps in stadiums, didn't we? What kind of work is this? They used to talk about Hitler in strange ways. How are you any different from Hitler? These people will even make us miss Hitler. Is there any difference between what Netanyahu is doing and what Hitler did? Hitler was not as rich as this one; this one is richer than Hitler."
Netanyahu responded to these remarks by saying, "President Erdoğan of Turkey, who commits genocide against the Kurds and imprisons journalists, is the last person to lecture us on morality."
In a message shared on X, Netanyahu defended the view that the Israel Defense Forces are "the most moral army in the world." The Israeli Prime Minister stated, "The Israeli armed forces are fighting to eliminate Hamas-ISIS, the most brutal terrorist organization in the world, which Erdoğan praises and hosts its leaders."
