Netanyahu: The main task ahead is to topple the Iranian regime

A statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office reported that Netanyahu met with Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir, and other commanders at the Kirya Defense Ministry Complex in Tel Aviv.

In his speech there, Netanyahu argued that they had pushed back the Iranian threat, claiming that the Tehran administration is "stumbling and weaker than ever before."

Stating, "The main task ahead is to topple the Iranian regime, and we trust in our capabilities in this regard," Netanyahu asserted that this is not impossible, but rather an achievable and imminent central task.

Netanyahu claimed that Iran did not attack them due to Israel's response, and argued that they have unity within the country.

Ahead of the elections to be held in Israel on October 27, public opinion polls show that former Chief of General Staff Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party is leading the race.

Falling behind in public opinion polls, Netanyahu is increasing his outward-facing rhetoric and threats.
