Netanyahu: There is currently no ceasefire with Lebanon

According to a report by Israel's state broadcaster KAN, Netanyahu spoke during a security cabinet meeting.

Claiming that a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon has not yet been finalized, Netanyahu said, "From Israel's perspective, there is currently no ceasefire with Lebanon."

Stating that Hezbollah has objected to proposals regarding a ceasefire, Netanyahu claimed, "A ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon has not yet been fully drafted or completed."

Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir also stated at the meeting that a process regarding the next phase must be determined at the political level, asserting, "The Israeli army is prepared to expand the scope of its attacks if a decision is made. If there is an opportunity for a ceasefire under conditions acceptable to us, it would be better for it to happen today than in a few months."
