Netanyahu: We will continue to strike all of Lebanon

Netanyahu visited the Golani training base, which was the target of a drone attack south of the city of Haifa.

Speaking there, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the Israeli army would continue its attacks in Lebanon, saying, "I want to be clear: we will continue to strike Hezbollah without mercy everywhere in Lebanon, including in Beirut."

The Israeli army had announced yesterday that 4 soldiers were killed and 58 others, 7 of them seriously, were wounded in a drone attack carried out by Hezbollah on the Golani military base south of the city of Haifa.

In a statement from Hezbollah, it was stated that an "attack was carried out with a squadron of drones on the Golani Brigade's training base of the Israeli army" in the Binyamina region south of the city of Haifa, in solidarity with the resistance of the Palestinian people in Gaza, to defend Lebanon and its people, and in response to the attacks on the Basta and Nuwayri neighborhoods in Beirut.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 on the southern cities of Lebanon as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 2,309 people have been killed, including 104 children and 194 women, and 10,782 people have been wounded since October 8, 2023.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in airstrikes carried out by the Israeli army on Beirut on September 27.

Hezbollah is responding to Israel with rockets and missiles. No major damage has been reported in these attacks on the Israeli side, which mostly target military bases.

It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli bombardment.

While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country to the capital, Beirut, and the north continues, the Lebanese government announced that more than 430,000 of the displaced people have migrated to Syria.
