New development plan from Rishi Sunak

Prime Minister Sunak announced that he has prepared a plan to increase the UK's stagnant growth.

His commitments include reducing debt, supporting domestic energy supply, supporting businesses, and providing world-class education.

It is being discussed in political circles that Sunak's preparation of this plan was influenced by suggestions from Conservative Party MPs to win back voters experiencing economic difficulties ahead of the elections.

Sunak told citizens, "Whether you like me or not, you should trust me to steer the economy. Now that inflation has been halved, we can turn our attention to tax cuts. By cutting taxes and reforming our welfare system, we will ensure that work always pays," he said.

In today's press conference, Rishi Sunak announced a five-point plan for the economy, stating that they will focus on cutting taxes and eliminating long-term unemployment.

Here is that five-point plan:

1. Reducing Debt

The Prime Minister promised to "do what is necessary" to reduce debt and ensure fiscal security. This means keeping inflation under control and bringing down very high mortgage interest rates.

2. Tax cuts and rewarding hard work

Sunak announced that long-awaited tax cuts will be implemented immediately. Pressure will also be applied to businesses that are economically inactive and benefit from unfair gains.

3. Building domestic, sustainable energy

Ministers will try to stabilize energy bills by building new nuclear power plants, supporting North Sea oil and gas, and investing in renewable energy sources.

4. Supporting British business

The Prime Minister promised to invest in trade and innovation and to keep business taxes low.

5. Providing world-class education

Sunak stated that he will try to increase employment by canceling fake university degrees and forcing all children to study mathematics until they reach the age of 18.
