New statement from the US regarding the response to the death of its three soldiers

US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller made assessments regarding how the US will respond to the attack on its base during a daily press briefing.

Stating that the (US President Joe) Biden administration has drawn up a roadmap for the response to the attack on the American base on the Syria-Jordan border, Miller emphasized that they do not aim to increase tensions in the region.

Miller stated, "The US response will not be intended to escalate tensions. Our actions to date have been aimed at defending US troops, not escalating tensions. We do not believe that an increase in regional tensions serves anyone's interests."

"IT WILL NOT BE IN IRAN'S INTERESTS EITHER"

Expressing that the spread of conflicts in the Middle East would not serve American interests, Miller argued that this would also not be in Iran's interests.

Emphasizing that they will continue to protect their troops, allies, and interests in the region, the US spokesperson noted that they will also continue to take military steps carefully.

In the attack carried out with a kamikaze drone on the US military base on the Jordan-Syria border on January 28, 3 US soldiers were killed and over 40 soldiers were injured.

US officials, led by Biden, have held Iran-backed groups responsible for the attack and stated that the US would respond to the attack at a time and place of its choosing.
