The Russian state defense industry corporation Rostec has announced that a new batch of Su-34 fighter jets has been delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense. No information was shared regarding the number of aircraft provided to the ministry as part of the delivery.

In a statement from the company, the Su-34 was described as an important platform in combat aviation, noting that the aircraft stands out in units due to its versatility, powerful armament, and flight performance. Rostec reported that the platform continues to be developed in line with experience gained from combat use.

The statement included the following: “The Su-34 is an undisputed success story in world combat aviation. In the units, this aircraft is valued and respected for its versatility, powerful armament, and high flight performance.” The company announced that new batches of Su-34s are also in the production stage.

Vadim Badeha, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), also stated that the production pace is being maintained. Badeha noted that obligations to the Ministry of Defense are being met, adding that employees at the factories are continuously improving processes to reach the necessary production volumes.

Recent announcements in Russia regarding fighter jet deliveries have not been limited to the Su-34. It was announced in September that a batch of Su-57 fighter jets with new technical specifications had been delivered to the Russian air force, and another batch of Su-57s was provided in February.

In previous Su-57 statements, Rostec had argued that the aircraft were updated with experience gained from the field; company management had stated that production was continuing in line with both the delivery schedule and operational needs.
