New US sanctions on Iran
The US administration has imposed new sanctions on Iran on the grounds that it is supporting the war in Ukraine in favor of Moscow by transferring lethal weapons to Russia.
According to a statement from the US Department of the Treasury, the Biden administration has announced new sanctions on Iran.
The statement pointed out that Iran is supporting Russia in its "illegal" war in Ukraine by sending lethal weapons, and noted that this will not be tolerated.
In its statement, the Department alleged that Tehran continues to send ballistic missiles to Moscow and that these weapons are being used by Russia in Ukraine.
In this context, a total of 10 individuals and 6 entities located in Iran and Russia involved in the aforementioned weapons transfer have been added to the sanctions list.
