North Korea has flexed its military muscle with the launch of its new Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan. Kim Jong-un, stating that this missile, which has the longest flight time, demonstrates the country's strategic deterrence capability, emphasized that they will continue to increase their nuclear power.

North Korea announced that the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) it launched into the Sea of Japan (East Sea) on October 31, which is considered to have the longest flight time of any missile they have launched to date, is the "ultimate model" new-type Hwasong-19.
In a report by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), it was stated that the launched "new-type Hwasong-19" intercontinental ballistic missile demonstrates the country's strategic strike capability.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said regarding the matter that it would fulfill its duty as the "primary tool" in completely deterring the aggressive actions of enemies and protecting national security.

Stating that they will not allow any threat to approach the sphere of their national security, Kim emphasized that North Korea will not change its line of strengthening its nuclear forces under any circumstances.
According to experts, the ballistic missile launched by North Korea has the "longest flight time" among all the missiles they have launched to date.
