Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, made a statement regarding the debates over the enriched uranium in his country's possession and potential negotiations with the US.
In his assessment on his social media account, Rezaei stated that enriched uranium would not be taken out of Iran, using the expression, “Not a single gram of enriched uranium will be removed from Iran.”
Emphasizing that any potential negotiation process with the Washington administration is contingent upon the condition of trust, Rezaei said, “No negotiations will be held until the US takes steps to build trust. This process must begin with the full fulfillment of all of Iran’s conditions.”
Rezaei’s statement comes at a time when military tensions between Iran and the US and diplomatic debates surrounding the nuclear file are ongoing.
