Number of Hezbollah members killed in radio explosions announced

Hezbollah announced that 37 of its members were killed as a result of 'ICOM' radio explosions in various regions of Lebanon. The number of Hezbollah members who have lost their lives in clashes with Israel since October 8, 2023, has risen to 478.

In statements made by Hezbollah, information was provided regarding its members who died in the radio explosions.

Hezbollah reported that they have 'begun to respond to Israel.'

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that at least 400 people were hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of the attacks. The ministry said that 'thousands of people flocked to hospitals after the attacks.'

RADIOS WERE ALSO DETONATED FOLLOWING PAGERS

In Lebanon, simultaneous explosions occurred on September 17 in pagers used by Hezbollah members. 12 people, including two children, lost their lives in the explosions, and approximately 2,800 people were injured.

On September 18, 20 people were killed and more than 450 were injured as a result of the detonation of numerous radios in the country.

While Lebanese officials hold Israel responsible for the incident, there has been no statement from Israel regarding the matter yet.

Clashes that have occasionally intensified have been occurring between the parties on the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 2023.
