NYT leaks secret draft: Trump to ban citizens of 11 countries from entering the US

A draft list prepared as part of US President Donald Trump's plans to expand travel bans has emerged. It was reported that the list envisions sanctions against 43 countries. According to the allegations, citizens of 11 of these countries will be completely banned from entering the US.

According to the document published by the US press, the 43 countries will be divided into 3 groups: yellow, orange, and red. Sources close to the Trump administration stated that different sanctions will be applied to countries based on the list they are included in.

According to the document leaked by The New York Times (NYT), the draft prepared by the State Department includes Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen on the red list. It was claimed that under Trump's plan, citizens of these countries would not be able to enter US borders under any circumstances.

Following the executive order signed by Trump after taking office, US officials began deporting illegal immigrants. Immigrants are being arrested, sent to 'detention centers,' and then deported from the country via military aircraft.

VISA RESTRICTIONS FOR 32 COUNTRIES

According to sources speaking on condition of anonymity, citizens of the 10 countries on the orange list will face significant visa restrictions. Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan were included in this category. Only wealthy individuals from these countries will be permitted entry for business travel purposes.

It was announced that there are 22 countries on the yellow list. It was noted that Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Vanuatu, and Zimbabwe are in this group. It was reported that these countries will be given 60 days to address their deficiencies. The NYT stated that countries that fail to meet the required conditions within the specified time will be moved to other lists.
