It was stated that the name of the gang is the Command for Hunting Communists, Corrupt Individuals, and Criminals (C4), and it was reported that an officer was among the gang members. It was noted that the gang demanded amounts ranging from 26 thousand dollars to 44 thousand dollars to target high-level individuals, and it was stated that the gang possessed heavy weapons and used women as bait to reach their targets.
It is not yet known whether the gang has harmed any high-level official, but it was reported that the gang was identified as a result of an investigation launched following the murder of a lawyer in the city of Cuiaba in the state of Mato Grosso.
