NEW SCHEDULES ANNOUNCED: SERVICES TO GREEK ISLANDS

İDO has announced its new tariffs and prices have been set.

Round-trip ferry prices set by İDO:

Seferihisar-Samos round trip is 40 euros,

Kuşadası-Samos is 55 euros,

Dikili-Lesbos is 45 euros.

WHICH DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR VISA-ON-ARRIVAL?

The following documents are required to benefit from the visa-on-arrival program:

1. Visa application form,

2. Scanned image of the first page of the passport,

3. Scanned images of previous Schengen visas, if any,

4. Scanned image of the front and back of the national ID card,

5. Biometric photo,

6. Health insurance,

7. Bank account statement for the last 3 months,

8. Ferry ticket,

9. Hotel reservation confirmation,

10. Visa-on-arrival petition is required.

HOW MUCH IS THE VISA FEE?

The visa-on-arrival fee has been set at 85 euros.

HOW MUCH IS THE VISA-ON-ARRIVAL FEE FOR CHILDREN?

While the same documents are prepared for children aged 0-18, the visa fee has been set at 20 euros.

WHAT IS THE DURATION LIMIT FOR VISA-ON-ARRIVAL?

Travel with a visa-on-arrival is limited to a maximum of 6 nights and 7 days, and the visa will be single-entry.

The visa will need to be renewed for each trip.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRAVEL FROM THE ISLANDS TO GREECE?

The visa only covers the island for which the application was made and does not provide the opportunity to travel to the Greek mainland.

NORTHERN CYPRUS WARNING FOR PASSPORTS

Those with a Northern Cyprus entry stamp in their passport cannot enter Greece. Applications from individuals who have previously been rejected for a Schengen visa will not be accepted. The visa fee paid is not refunded if the visa documents are not accepted by the Greek police, if the ticket is converted to an open ticket after submitting the documents, or if the ship is missed.

WHEN DID THE VISA-ON-ARRIVAL PROGRAM START?

The visa-on-arrival program, which allows for day trips to the Greek islands right on Turkey's border, began as of April 2, 2024. Within the scope of the program, which will be valid for 10 Greek islands, Turkish citizens will be able to visit the islands for up to one week by paying 60 euros.
