The British press has claimed that Hamza bin Laden, the son of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, is alive and has taken over the leadership of Al-Qaeda following his father. According to the report, Hamza is secretly running Al-Qaeda from Afghanistan alongside his brother Abdullah bin Laden and is planning to organize new attacks against the West. Former US President Donald Trump had announced in a press conference in 2019 that Hamza had been killed in an airstrike.

The National Mobilization Front (NMF), an anti-Taliban military alliance, prepared a report detailing the operations of Hamza and his associates and shared it with Western intelligence agencies. The report states that Hamza, dubbed the 'crown prince of terror,' is hiding in northern Afghanistan under the constant protection of 450 snipers.

The British newspaper The Mirror provided details, claiming that one of its reporters had 'seen' the report.

According to The Mirror's report, the document states, 'Al-Qaeda has been reorganized under his command and is preparing for future attacks against Western targets.'

The NMF report warned that since the fall of Kabul in 2021, Afghanistan has become a 'training hub for various terrorist organizations.'

According to the report, the NMF stated that 'Hamza bin Laden has been relocated to the Dara Abdullah Khel district in Panjshir, where he is protected by 450 Arabs and Pakistanis.'

US HAD ANNOUNCED HE WAS KILLED IN 2019

According to the report, the NMF document refutes claims that Hamza was killed in a 2019 US airstrike. It is believed that Hamza worked closely with Ayman al-Zawahiri, who took over the affairs of Al-Qaeda after Osama's death.

Donald Trump announced the news of Hamza's death during his presidency after audio and video messages emerged in which Hamza called for attacks on the US and other countries.

However, according to a former BBC report, the location and date of Hamza's death were uncertain.

The Pentagon also refrained from commenting to the press regarding Hamza's death.

Hamza bin Laden was officially designated as a 'global terrorist' by the US and was thought to have been held under house arrest in Iran.

It is believed that Hamza was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and later lived in Iran for many years with his mother.

Hamza's father, Osama bin Laden, was killed by US Special Forces in a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in 2011. Osama bin Laden was the mastermind behind the September 11, 2001, attacks on the US, which killed nearly 3,000 people.
