The British press has claimed that Hamza bin Laden, the son of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, is alive and has taken over the leadership of Al-Qaeda following his father. The National Mobilization Front (NMF), an anti-Taliban military alliance, prepared a report detailing the operations of Hamza and his associates and shared it with Western intelligence agencies. The report states that Hamza, dubbed the 'crown prince of terror,' is hiding in northern Afghanistan under the constant protection of 450 snipers.

The British newspaper The Mirror provided details, claiming that one of its reporters had 'seen' the report.

According to The Mirror's report, the document states, 'Al-Qaeda has been reorganized under his command and is preparing for future attacks against Western targets.'

The NMF report warned that since the fall of Kabul in 2021, Afghanistan has become a 'training hub for various terrorist organizations.'

According to the report, the NMF stated that 'Hamza bin Laden has been relocated to the Dara Abdullah Khel district in Panjshir, where he is protected by 450 Arabs and Pakistanis.'
