Palestine Red Crescent Society resumes emergency services
The Palestine Red Crescent Society has announced that it has resumed ambulance and emergency services in the northern Gaza Strip after a hiatus of approximately 2 months.
In a written statement regarding the matter, the Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that ambulance and emergency services, which were forced to stop after Israeli forces besieged the Gaza Ambulance Center and Al-Quds Hospital approximately 2 months ago, have begun to be provided again.
STRENGTHENED WITH ADDITIONAL AMBULANCE VEHICLES
The statement recalled that Red Crescent ambulances were rendered unusable in an Israeli attack on the Ambulance Center in Jabalia about three weeks ago, and noted that ambulance and emergency services have been strengthened with additional ambulance vehicles from the North Gaza Governorate.
According to Red Crescent data, 8 Red Crescent employees have been killed and 29 employees have been injured in 54 Israeli attacks targeting Red Crescent teams since October 7.
