Person preparing for an attack arrested in Slovakia
In Slovakia, a person who stated they "intended to carry out an act similar to the attack that took place in Prague" has been taken into custody.
According to a BBC report, police in Slovakia have detained a 64-year-old individual who called authorities to state their "intention to do what happened in Prague" and expressed a desire to acquire weapons. The suspect is expected to face up to 2 years in prison for causing a public emergency.
In the armed attack carried out at Charles University in Prague on December 21, 14 people lost their lives and 25 were injured.
