Pezeshkian denies 'ballistic missile' claims from the US

Stating that Iran's ballistic missile capacity is not a subject of negotiation, Pezeshkian said, "We do not trust the US because it has attacked us twice during negotiations, but we are still ready for dialogue and peace. We will maintain our strengths in upcoming negotiations; there have been no negotiations regarding ballistic missiles, and there will not be any."

Expressing that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir have made great efforts in the negotiations, Pezeshkian said, "We appreciate Pakistan's role in facilitating the negotiations and reaching a memorandum of understanding."

Pezeshkian also expressed his belief that progress in the West Asia region depends on peace, security, and regional cooperation.
