Pezeshkian's 'Do whatever the hell you want' response to Trump

Speaking at an event in Tehran, Pezeshkian evaluated the pressure and threats from US President Trump.

Criticizing Trump's behavior toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House, Pezeshkian said, "One is truly embarrassed by what Trump did to Zelenskyy."

"I AM NOT COMING TO NEGOTIATIONS"

In response to Trump's call for negotiations while issuing threats, Pezeshkian replied, "He says, 'We order you to do this and not do that, otherwise I will cause trouble.' If you are threatening me, I am not coming (to negotiations). Go do whatever the hell you want."

In an interview with Fox Business Network on March 7, Trump announced that he had sent a letter to Iranian leader Khamenei. Trump had said, "I wrote them a letter saying, 'I hope you negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it will be a terrible thing.'"

"TRUMP HAS NOT SENT THE LETTER YET"

Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York responded to a question regarding US President Trump's statement about sending a letter to Khamenei by saying, "We have not received such a letter so far." Later, an American official speaking to the country's media said, "Trump wrote the letter but has not sent it yet."

NEGOTIATIONS WITH TRUMP HAD BEEN BANNED

Iranian leader Khamenei had banned negotiations with the Trump administration, which he described as "untrustworthy" and which threatened Iran. High-level Iranian officials, primarily President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, frequently state that they will not negotiate with the US under pressure and threats.

Most recently, in a speech on March 8, Khamenei stated that the US does not want to solve problems with its request for negotiations, but rather wants to impose its own demands and establish dominance, adding that Iran would not accept this.
