Kyrgyzstan's Suzak district in the Jalal-Abad region saw a pickup truck crash into students who had gathered for a cultural event.
29 people were injured in the accident.
In a statement made by the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Health, it was reported that 18 people, including 1 teacher and 17 students, were taken to the hospital, while 11 students received outpatient medical care.
It was stated that the children were between the ages of 9 and 16, and that 3 of the injured children were in critical condition.
It was noted that the pickup truck was parked when it suddenly moved and that there was no driver inside.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
