According to a report by the BBC, the 70-year-old actor walked in a restricted area of the national park known as Mammoth Terraces. The area, which contains hot springs, is known for being extremely dangerous.
It has been reported that more than 20 people have lost their lives in the area.
The actor stated, "The allegations are untrue. It is not possible for me to accept the charges."
PRISON SENTENCES ARE IMPOSED
Those who enter the area without authorization face prison sentences, heavy fines, and bans from the park.
The hearing will be held on February 20 at the Yellowstone Justice Center.
