PKK/YPG withdrawing from northeast of Aleppo
Following recent developments in Syria, it has been learned that the PKK/YPG has begun withdrawing from the northeastern parts of Aleppo.
In Syria, jihadists led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) took control of Aleppo following attacks launched against Bashar al-Assad's forces on Wednesday.
According to Reuters, Aleppo has almost entirely passed under the control of the opposition.
With the organization beginning to withdraw from the northeastern parts, Aleppo has started to be cleared of the PKK/YPG.
Opposition leader Hadi al-Bahra stated in his remarks, “We will not stop until the regime commits to the United Nations process and political transition.”
